In June 2022, the TrusTrace team travelled to Copenhagen during the Global Fashion Summit to launch the Traceability Playbook, a fashion industry guide to supply chain traceability. The book draws on expertise from the industry and within the TrusTrace team to outline the business case for traceability, supply chain risks for different materials, traceability tech solutions on the market, and finally the TrusTrace Three Levels of Traceability — a framework that supports fashion brands through their sustainability transformation. The Playbook was written in collaboration with Fashion Revolution and Fashion for Good.

In Copenhagen on the 7th of June 2022, TrusTrace invited 50 fashion industry members to a launch event at acclaimed Danish restaurant Amass, located in a warehouse on the outskirts of Copenhagen’s docklands district. Guests included playbook interviewees and contributors, fashion journalists and thought-leaders, activists and influencers, as well as TrusTrace partners.

Guests were treated to a three-course lunch as they listened to a panel discussion hosted by sustainable fashion journalist Megan Doyle, author of the Playbook, who interviewed TrusTrace CEO Shameek Ghosh, Liv Simpliciano from Fashion Revolution, and Kathleen Rademan from Fashion for Good. The panel discussed the purpose and goals of the Playbook, the current legislative climate, the importance of technology and data in supply chain traceability, and the critical voice of suppliers within the sustainable fashion conversation.
